Jessica Burbank's Bizarre Claim About Carjacking And Commodity Futures Trading

HillTV Rising's resident hot girl Jessica Burbank made an absolutely bizarre claim on Friday's show about carjacking and commodity futures trading.

Here at EndingPolitics.com, we're pretty big fans of The Hill's daily show Rising on YouTube. Admittedly, it's nice to not have to hear establishmentarian shit-lib propaganda every single time you turn on the television these days.

But on yesterday's edition of the show during a segment about a D.C. carjacking spree, Rising's resident hot girl and Friday cohost Jessica Burbank made a completely bizarre comment about commodities future trading (we know, just keep reading because it gets interesting... and weirder too) that shocked not only her cohost Amber Duke, but also us and the rest of their audience on YouTube (as evidenced by her roasting in the video's comment section).

After reporting the facts of the spree committed by the D.C. carjacker, and briefly commenting on one of the carjacking victims, Mike Gill who happened to serve as the chief operating officer of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission during the last Trump administration (and who as of the time of this writing is still in the hospital in critical condition), Burbank blamed Gill's "dangerous" occupation as the motivation for the crime, in an effort to seemingly make excuses for the car thief, who was later killed by police shortly after murdering another male during a separate carjacking.

Burbank claimed (incorrectly) that the motive of the man's crimes were unknown and that the Trump administration official could have been shot because "commodities futures trading is a dangerous business." To be certain that we weren't going completely nuts, we scrounged the internet looking for any data or any sort of evidence at all to suggest that commodity futures trading was in any way whatsoever a "dangerous business" (we obviously couldn't find any). We should note that Burbank also clearly misunderstood a pretty important detail - Gill didn't work in the commodity futures trading business anyway; he merely worked for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the government agency that is tasked with regulating it.

How such a seemingly intelligent young lady could imagine such a ridiculous theory of why a crime was committed is lost on us - but as we've reported before, those on the far-left will make all sorts of insane excuses for violent criminals these days. To be clear though, we can (and probably should) show compassion for those who commit crimes of poverty and desperation, but to make excuses for such a cold-blooded criminal who not only violently stole people's cars but also attempted (and in one case, succeeded) to murder the owners for no reason seems a tad unnecessary.

It's also worth noting that - and this may be a bit hard to believe - Jessica Burbank went to and graduated from Brown fucking University. We're not kidding you.

We reached out to Burbank for comment on Twitter, and to her credit, she actually did respond, unlike the vast majority of others we reach out to for comment (cowards like Sam Seder and Mehdi Hasan). Though, her comment seemed a bit insincere. We embedded the thread below for your amusement.

And as always, we've taken the liberty of time-stamping the moment in the video below, for your viewing pleasure.
